The Official Selection of the Cannes Film Festival’s 70th edition is now revealed and three Umedia movies are selected in different categories.

“L’Amant double” directed by François Ozon is selected in the official selection in competition for the Palme d’Or. Umedia VFX did the whole visual effects of this erotic thriller. This movie stars Jeremie Renier, Marine Vacth and Jacqueline Bisset. Watch the trailer here.

“After the war” by the Italian director Annarita Zambrano is presented in “Un Certain regard” selection. Produced by Cinema Defacto and coproduced by Nexus Factory, this drama is distributed by Pyramide Distribtion.

Last but not least, Umedia coproduction “Ôtez-moi d’un doute” is selected in the Director’s Fortnight Selection (Quinzaine des réalisateurs). This movie is directed by Carine Tardieu and stars Belgian actors François Damiens and Cecile de France. Produced by Antoine Rein and Fabrice Goldstein for Karé Productions, “Ôtez-moi d’un doute” is coproduced by France 2 Cinéma, SND and Umedia.
