At a press conference in Paris, Cannes chief Thierry Frémaux revealed 49 films selected in this year’s festival, which runs May 13-24.

Among these films one Umedia movie has been selected in the section Un Certain Regard: “Je suis un soldat” by Laurent Larivière starring Louise Bourgoin and Jean-Hugues Anglade.

The movie tells the story of Sandrine, 30 years old, who has to go back to her mother’s home for financial reasons in Roubaix. As an unemployed person, she accepts to work in her uncle’s kennel and quickly, she finds out that he is doing dog trafficking…”
