Toronto, San Sebastian, La Rochelle: our co-productions presented at international festivals this September.

Our co-productions travel all around the world to be presented at prestigious international festivals this year.
Spotlight on these productions:
The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2025 will present Momoko Seto's "Planets" for its North American premiere on September 4, 6, 10, and 12.
The animated film, produced by Ecce Films and Miyu Productions and co-produced by Umedia with the support of Wallimage, was a hit at the Cannes Film Festival and the Annecy Animation Festival.
We are also proud to announce that four of our co-produced series will have their first couple of episodes presented at The Fiction Festival of La Rochelle!
🚂 Les Disparues de la gare directed by Virginie Sauveur, produced by Itineraire Productions, in co-production with Umedia. Screening on September 16 at 7:30 p.m.
🔫 Les Sentinelles directed by Thierry Poireaud and Edouard Salier, produced by Federation Studio France and ESPRITSFRAPPEURS, in co-production with Canal + and Umedia. Episode screening on Tuesday, September 17 at 6:30 p.m.
🏰 Merteuil directed by Jessica Palud, produced by Nabi Films and FELICITA FILMS, in co-production with Umedia. Screening on September 18 at 6:30 p.m. Starring Anamaria Vartolomei and Diane Kruger.
🎤CULTE: 2Be3 directed by Yaël Langmann, produced by PROGRAM33 and Amazon Prime Video, in co-production with Umedia. Screening on September 20 at 5 p.m.
Lastly, the San Sebastian Film Festival will screen Breaking Walls in the Zinemira category. This Spanish feature directed by Borja Cobeaga tells the story of fathers forced to accompany their daughters to a gymnastics championship. A Despadres, A.I.E., Inicia Films, BTeam Prods, and Sayaka Producciones production, in co-production with Umedia.
As a Belgian co-producer, it's a great pleasure to see Umedia projects on international screens. Congratulations to the teams for their great work!
