Two Umedia coproductions to be presented in Cannes!

We’re thrilled to announce that two films coproduced by Umedia have been selected in parallel sections of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. Spotlight on these two features:


🌱 DANDELION'S ODYSSEY by Momoko Seto will close the Semaine de la Critique. This delicate feature blends 3D animation with live-action, bringing to life a poetic universe. The film follows four dandelion achenes on a journey to explore an unknown planet. A Miyu Production and Ecce Films production, with the support of Wallimage.


☀️ THE PARTY’S OVER! by Antony Cordier is selected for the Directors' Fortnight. This vibrant comedy stars Laurent Lafitte, Élodie Bouchez, Ramzy Bedia, and Laure Calamy. It tells the story of Mehdi, a young man spending his holidays with his girlfriend’s family, but things quickly spiral into chaos. A Cheyenne Federation production.
