Two Umedia Coproductions to discover at the Film Fest Gent

We are thrilled to announce that two of our upcoming coproductions will be screened at the Film Fest Gent, which will take place from October 9th to 20th!

Focus on the two features:

🎞🌟 The Film Fest Gent will open with “Small Things Like These”, the newest feature of Belgian director Tim Mielants. Based on the Claire Keegan’s 2021 best-selling novel, the feature tells the story of Bill Furlong (played by Irish actor Cillian Murphy), a coal merchant who discovers a dark secret about a local convent. Forced to navigate the implications of this revelation, Bill will confront his own values and the impact of his choices on his community and family. After opening the 2024 edition of the Berlinale, this will be the first Belgian Premiere for this Big Things Films, Screen Ireland, Artist Equity and Wilder Content production, as the movie is set to hit the theaters later this year.

🦊 🐰 Ready to embark on a joyful adventure alongside some adorable critters? After multiple TV episodes, Fox and Hare are ready for their silver screen debut! After her acclaimed animated feature “Knor” (2022), do not miss Mascha Halberstad’s newest animated gem “Fox and Hare Save the Forest”! A Submarine, Doghouse Films and Walking the Dog production.
