Based on the acclaimed graphic novel by Joe Kelly and Ken Niimura, I Kill Giants tells the story of a teenage who struggles through school and family life by escaping into a fantasy world of magic and monsters. Umedia is producing and financing the project with Chris Columbus’ 1492 Pictures / Ocean Blue Entertainment, along with Kim Magnusson, Kyle Franke, Man of Action Entertainment and XYZ Films which is also handling the international sales. The film is a European co-production structured by Backup Films between France, Germany, Spain and Belgium and produced by Cameron Lamb. Umedia co-produced, handling Belgian financing and production.

Journey’s End is a tense drama about a group of British soldiers awaiting a massive German offensive during the First World War, in this new adaptation of R.C. Sherriff’s classic play. The production is financed by the BFI, Fluidity Films, British Film Company, Metro International, Ingenious, The Welsh Government’s Media Investment Budget and Umedia. Metro International Entertainment is handling worldwide sales.

Adrian Politowski, CEO of Umedia said, “I’m immensely proud of these movies and the teams behind each and every one of them for getting selected into what is an incredibly competitive year. Each project is uniquely different from the other but they speak to our common thread as we grow our company: to produce material with distinct voices that have the potential to appeal to a broad international audience.
